Kang's back pain has been a result of the cancerous growth. She's been suffering with it for months. She's currently under extensive tests, and is waiting to hear if the tumor is malignant or benign. She has already withdrawn from two tournaments this year, the Lotte Championship and the Palos Verde Championship. However, her tournament plans are still unclear. She will be taking further tests next week.
