
Vlatko andonovski is the United States' head coach for women's soccer. He is a former player, and a Macedonian. He is the second person to lead the team, and the first since Pia Moondhage in 2000. He has coaching experience with both men's and female national teams.

Pia Sundhage was a Swedish soccer player and is now a manager. At 15 years old, she made her debut as a national team player and led the Swedish women's team to two Women's World Cups.
