She is currently the assistant coach for Minnesota Lynx. Chatman was previously the coach of the Indiana Fever, an NBA team.

Smith, Tina Thompson and Tina Thompson will both be inducted into WNBA Hall of Fame this year. Smith is one of most prolific scorers in league history.
