U.S. women’s national soccer teams vs. Chile
It is an intriguing matchup between the U.S. women’s national soccer team and Chile. Both teams met in 2018 fall, and both ended in a USA win. The United States is the defending champion of the Women's World Cup. Chile will likely face a difficult test. Each team has good players, but the U.S. team overall is stronger.

Christiane Endler, Goalkeeper
In Tuesday's World Cup opener, Chile was dominated by the United States Women's National Team (USWNT) 2-0. The USWNT has now gone 3-0-0 against Chile, with Julie Ertz scoring one and Carli Lloyd scoring twice. The USWNT leads the Group F with a goal differential of 1.0 and will face Sweden this Thursday. The USWNT is expected to win the match. They will also be looking to extend their winning streak.
Start lineup
What players will be playing in the Women's Soccer USA match against Chile? The United States will be looking to continue their unbeaten run in the group stage, but a win over Chile could prove vital for their Olympic hopes. The U.S. is currently ranked 4th in the world and has won 20 matches. Their last match was a 66-38 victory over Sweden. Although they had a dominant possession advantage and scored in the first period, they saw the ball only 28%. The USA didn't slow down even though they started the match without seven stars. Carli Lloyd scored 2 goals, and missed a 3rd.
Disputes between FIFA and USWNT
While the U.S. soccer dispute with FIFA has been simmering over time, it is finally coming up to a head. A lawsuit was filed by U.S. soccer players on International Women's Day four months before the Women's World Cup. Players claim that they are paid less than men and are not given equal working conditions.
The team has players who have at least 200 caps
Becky Sauerbrunn reached 200 caps. She will be the 12th player from USWNT to achieve this milestone. She will also become the fourth defense player to cross this threshold. This feat comes only a few month after the Dutch captain attained this milestone. Her achievement will surpass General Manager Kate Markgraf's. Two years ago, a certain player commanded the U.S. National Team for the first time since she celebrated her 100th cap.

Endler's denial to Press
ChristenPress teed Lindsey Horan into the U.S. goal. Endler however came out of her goal and denied Endler tap-in. Press's strike would give Chile the lead. But Endler made a great save. She has an extraordinary instinct and is capable of making incredible saves. It was the game's highlight, with the save in the final 68 minutes.
