
Fallon Fox, an American mixed-martial artist who is openly transgender and proud to be so, is Fallon Fox. She is the first transgender fighter in the sport. In 2011, she made her transgender identity public by announcing her transition from male to female. Fallon is a passionate advocate for gender equity and a strong supporter for the LGBTQ community.
Manuel
Manuel Fallon Fox, 26 years old, is from Los Angeles, California. He was a high school senior when he decided to train as a boxer. He was enrolled in Jeet Kune Do when a girl approached him about a sparring session. Manuel decided to meet the girl at a nearby boxing club. There, an overzealous coach instructed Manuel and the girl to spar. He also hit Manuel hard in the process.
Manuel has only fought three times professionally, and his first two bouts were amateur bouts. The rest of his career has been full of injuries. He's missed several fights due to back-to-back injuries, shifting priorities in the bureaucracy, and the pandemic. But his promise to return to the ring is still unfulfilled.

Her relationship to a gay man
Fallon Fox, a MMA fighter has been the focus of a lot of attention recently because of her relationship to a gay man. Fox was a biological male and struggled from an early age with her gender identity. As a teenager, Fox believed she was gay. She didn't realize that transgender persons existed.
She started researching transgender issues which eventually led her to make the transition. She learned about transsexuals, many of whom had waited for decades. She finally lost her hair. She underwent several procedures that completed her transformation to a woman.
She had gender reassignment surgery
Fallon Fox was born a male but struggled to identify her gender as a teenager. In her teenage years, Fallon Fox thought she was homosexual, but later realized she was transgender. Following this realization, she decided that gender reassignment would be the best option for her. She flew to Thailand for the operation and had a series if surgeries.
Fallon Fox first learned of the term "transgender" as a teenager. She began questioning her identity at a young age and started to steal her mother’s clothes to dress up when no one was watching. Although her family did not support her decision to have gender-reassignment surgery, she was able to serve four years in the Navy, becoming an operations specialist, second class. She attended a technical college after her marriage ended in 2007 and enrolled at University of Toledo.

Her MMA career
Fallon Fox quit professional mixed martial arts in early 2018, after she lost to Amanda Nunes in UFC 215; she announced that she would be retiring from the sport. She announced her intention to retire in February 2017. In July 2017, she returned to the octagon and fought Raquel Pennington, losing a unanimous decision. Fox hasn't competed since.
Although her MMA experience was short-lived, it's notable that she is now a prominent advocate and supporter of transgender athletes. Born as a male, she struggled from an early age with gender identity, believing that she was gay. She was unaware there were other transgender persons in the world.
