Maggie Voisin from the United States is a female Olympic athlete. After breaking her leg, she was unable to compete at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. She was unable to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics after she sustained a left ACL tear. Voisin has been out of competition for eight year due to her injury.

Retton

In 2004, Retton was a member of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, an organization created by the U.S. government to increase physical activity and encourage Americans of all ages to participate in sports. The United States Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Public Health and Science has the council. While the bill did not become law, Retton met with its sponsor and helped to drop the proposal.
