While her first goal was an unfortunate accident, she was also a crucial part of the dominant Swedish effort. Sweden is the world champions and knocked out the Americans in the 2016 Olympics. In April, Sweden drew 2-2 with the Americans in Stockholm. However, they were able to defeat the Americans in Tokyo with a score 4-0. Blackstenius's goals against world champions proved that Sweden is not to underestimate, despite all odds.
