Megan Rapinoe began dating Sera Cahoone in 2013 after Megan ended her five years-long relationship with Sarah Walsh. Megan was excited about the possibility of starting a new chapter in her life, and Sera was equally thrilled. They shared a cute photograph on social media. Sera even proposed to Rapinoe in a birthday celebration. But, their engagement didn't take place until two years after they were married, because Sera was still grieving her cousin's death. Both Sera and Megan were emotionally exhausted after their breakup.
