Tobin Heatingh
Tobin Heath is an American forward who was recently added to the US women’s soccer squad roster. She is an outstanding player who has represented the North Carolina Tar Heels as well as the United States national soccer team. Heath has been called "perhaps the USA's most talented player" by the United States Soccer Federation. US Soccer named Heath Athlete in the Year 2016.

She is one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, with 202 appearances in the U.S. team and a record of 152 clean sheet. Solo is also known for her outspoken opinions and controversial character, which has made her one of the most talked about figures in the sport.
Tobin Naeher
The United States women's soccer team is in the final stages of their World Cup qualification campaign. Tobin Naeher was an unexpected selection but has proven to be a valuable player on the roster. She played every minute for the team and made four saves in the 2-1 win over France. Naeher also stopped Steph Haughton's attempted penalty kick save in semis.

A recent controversy in the US women's soccer team's match against Canada has the Canadian players accusing referee Christiana Pedersen of bias. Pedersen issued a penalty for the United States to hold the ball in their penalty area in the 80thminute. Pedersen, a former World Cup referee was not immediately available to comment.

Megan Rapinoe, a steady presence for the United States' women's national soccer team for more than 10 years. The forward is a powerful player both on and off the court. She was born in Redding and grew up playing volleyball with her older brother, twin sister, and younger brother.
