Fallon Fox is an openly transgender American mixed martial artist. She is the first transgender fighter in the sport. Her transgender identity was revealed when she declared her gender transition to female in 2011. Fallon is a vocal supporter of LGBTQ rights and an advocate for gender equality.

Manuel Fallon Fox (26), a Los Angeles high school student, decided to make a career out of boxing. A girl approached him about sparring. He was already enrolled at Jeet Kune Do. Manuel decided to go and meet her at a boxing gym in a nearby suburb. There, an overzealous coach instructed Manuel and the girl to spar. He also hit Manuel hard in the process.

Manuel has only fought 3 times professionally. His first 2 bouts were amateur. The rest of his career has been full of injuries. Back-to-back injuries and shifting priorities in bureaucracy have caused him to miss several fights. But his promise to return to the ring is still unfulfilled.

Fallon Fox has been the subject of a lot media attention due to her romance with a gay guy. Fox was a biological male and struggled from an early age with her gender identity. In her teens, Fox was certain she was gay. She was unaware of transgender people at that time.


She began to research transgender issues and was eventually able to transition. She read about transsexuals, some of whom had been waiting decades to do so. She eventually lost hair. Eventually, she underwent several surgeries that would complete her transformation into a female.

After realizing her gender identity, she decided to have gender-reassignment surgery. She flew to Thailand for the operation and had a series if surgeries.

Fallon Fox first learned of the term "transgender" as a teenager. At a young age, she began to question her identity and began to steal her mother's clothes to play dress-up when no one was looking. While her family was not supportive of her decision to undergo gender reassignment surgery, she served in the Navy for four years, becoming an operations specialist second class. After her marriage ended in 2007, she went on to attend a technical college and eventually enrolled at the University of Toledo.

Fallon Fox, a professional mixed martial artist, announced her retirement in early 2018, following a defeat to Amanda Nunes at UFC 215 and that she would no longer be competing in the sport. In February 2017, she announced her retirement plans. She announced her intention to retire in February 2017. Fox has not competed since.

Although her MMA career was short, it is notable to note that she has become a prominent advocate of transgender athletes. Born as a boy, she was raised to believe that she was a gay man. She didn't know that there were transgender people all over the globe.
